Goat Green Cape Cod began after Stacey Greaves rescued four goats from Western Mass and brought them home to the Cape in 2014. Stacey launched Goat Green Cape Cod in earnest the following year and has loved getting to share her goats with the community. The “goat boys” have also loved cleaning up yards!
Since 2014,Stacey has grown Goat Green Cape Cod’s herd to 12 goats. The goats eat their way through your excess leaves and weeds, all while fertilizing your property as they go. They love poison ivy, autumn olive, bittersweet, and other invasive plants. In the right circumstances, they will even chow down on phragmites.
